In the basement under an English theater
in the 18th century
there lives the "Man without a face"... He falls in love with a young

and helps her in her carrier.
He watches her secretly from behind
the scenes,
he sends her flowers and love letters.
Then he lures her into the catacombs
and bewitches her with the magic spell of the music he writes, inspired
by his love for her. He believes in his great love, which leads to
a tragic
end...
